Abstract

This debate focuses on examining the characteristics of information professionals working in information centers and their similarities or differences with librarians. To do so, it considers their experience, training, general and specific skills to analyze aspects such as functions, tasks performed, economic sectors, type of users, human resources, and training.

Different points of view are offered from three perspectives of professionals who work in the financial, legal, or consulting sectors.
