Abstract
This study stems from the major importance bestowed to personal work, based on Reading, by the founders of Colegio Estudio (heirs to Institución Libre de Enseñanza and Instituto-Escuela back in 1940) to exhibit the organization and achievements of the current school library mounted around decentralized criteria which allow, through collections and independent areas for each level of the Spanish educational syllabus, the progressive acknowledgement of the practice and values associated to Reading, on behalf of a student body who, this way , can continue their studies in the future or tackle any other quotidian activity as well as a professional pursuit of another nature with a solid cultural background, which enables the student to cope the contemporary society in full performance.
